Jimmer Time
Late last night there was a knock on my door. When I answered it there was my dad, on his way home from church, holding this FABULOUS outfit for K man! He said he thought he needed to be decked out for today's game. We LOVE it. BYU has to win now right? Go cougs!

Mr. Independent
Who needs mom when they have BFF Octi? We often find Kyle playing literally til he drops with his faithful little friend. Let's be honest though, me vs. an awesome Pirate Octopus? What would you do?
I love the way he has him tossed over his shoulder like he is just toting him around. Cracks me up.
Yep, I am sad to say the days of cuddles and lap sitting are retiring quickly. He is much more happy flailing and playing down where he can move. Luckily I do still get plenty of loves. We will see how long that lasts though. Here's to a happy, active little boy!

Running traditions on ice
This weekend was fabulous and packed with fun (aside from speaking in church, which is fine, but not on my "fun" list). Saturday morning Ryan and I ran the Rex Lee 5k in Provo. I have done this every year except one since I was a freshman at BYU. It was fun to get out and do it again this year, and we always enjoy the shirt that comes with the deal.
Then straight after the race we jumped in the car and headed to SLC to see Disney on Ice with my fam! We literally just kept running after the finish line to our car...had to hurry! The show was adorable as always and the company was great too. Kyle was actually quite intrigued by the show I think, until he fell asleep. Afterwards we stumbled in the Union Pacific building to find a place to sit and feed K before heading home and there happened to be an Irish festival being held...awesome river dance! So that was a nice unexpected treat. Then we headed home but stopped for errands and lunch on the way home. In n Out..always a treat. And Ryan running errands with us, even better! We ended the day with watching the BYU game. Not the ending we were looking for but still fun.
Sunday continued the fabulous theme our weekend had been carrying! Beautiful weather! We all got to spend some time outside and Ryan got to play with Kyle so that was fantastic. It was a very busy, very fun weekend. The kind that makes you think maybe you can face Monday after all. Hope yours was great too!

3 Months!
I know this is a very cliche statement, but I can't believe how fast time goes! Kyle hit his 3 month mark today. It has definitely been the most action packed, life changing 3 months of our lives. It seems like he was just born yesterday, but also feels like he has been with us forever. I am slightly obsessed and love everything about him. Pardon all the pics, but even with all these I am leaving many out! I am also gonna journal a bit, so just skim if you aren't interested (I wouldn't blame you). Also, I wish I could make the pics bigger but the next size up is too big. I am sure there is a way but I don't feel like figuring it all out right now.
Look at him grow! He is definitely taking up more of that seat than he used to. Blows my mind.
He LOVES his playtime these days. He flails all his limbs like crazy, talks, and reaches and grabs for everything. He also like to eat things, including my face (I sort of love it though). He is BFF's with Octi the Octopus (original name, I know). That's why he is eating him in that first pic. He is also becoming a pro at holding himself up during tummy time. Building the strength of an ox.
Today was b e a u t i f u l! We not only went walking, but it was nice enough to play on the grass for a while! This is a first for Kyle! I think he had a good time, and met ducks for the first time. Always a joy. And such a treat to spend an afternoon outside. My goal is to raise quite an outdoorsy lil man. I think this is a good step. Also, notice the baseball quilt (an amazing shower gift)...baseball season is almost upon us! Woohoo!
Kyle has always done really funny things with his hands while he sleeps since he was born. Most of the time they are straight up over his head. He has never been a fan of the infamous swaddle some people swear by. More of a free spirit I guess. I snuck some pics of his naptime today...oh to sleep like a baby again.
Many of you know since August when we found out "it" was "he" we have referred to him as Lil' Man. Not very original, but it has always fit. When we were in Vegas we saw this onsie and knew we had to get it. I remember holding it in the store trying to picture what the lil guy would look like wearing it. Looks pretty good to me!
HUGE fan of bath time. Who wouldn't be when its in a whale shaped tub and you get out into a sweet shark towel? Seriously. He also loves having his diaper changed. Again, who wouldn't?
And I just threw these in cause he is constantly eating his hands (showing all the signs of teething already btw) and he just happened to be saying rock on and peace today. Made me laugh. Anyways to sum it up, we love him. Grateful to have a 3 month old rather than a 3 week old, things are a bit easier now. He is sleeping through the night consistently and is overall a very chill, happy, well natured baby. Couldn't be more grateful. Happy Thursday to all, and to all a good night!

knock off?
I want some of these badly for Kyle. Anyone know of a place that has them besides Baby Gap? If so, please enlighten me. Struggling to find affordable adorable baby boy stuff. Help?

Thank Goodness for diapers and dads
Dear Pampers,
Thank you for being so awesome. Since I found you, and made the switch from Huggies, I have wonderfully dry, comfortable, blow out free days, consisting of only one outfit, rather than the four I used to go through with the previous diapers. Everyone in the Lundgreen home sends their thanks.
Love, Kyle
Dear Dad,
Thank you for getting me dressed in such an awesome outfit today. Without your inspiration I would have never thought to pair my church cardigan, with a random onsie, striped socks, and some sweet sweat pants. Totally a new look for me. I was warm and comfy alllll day.
Love, Kyle

Oh it's a Baby Shower!
Saturday was Mel's shower! It was SO much fun to put everything together and I think everyone had a fabulous time. Mr. E got many fabulous gifts, lots of people came to party, and the food was delicious (veggie pizza lovers unite). What more do you need? That's right, the baby to come! He will make his debut soon and we are all pretty excited about it. It was a great day, as its always fun to get all the friends together, and even more fun to do it at a party.

I want spring but...
...sometimes a surprise snowstorm is really beautiful. I didn't know it had snowed until I headed out the door, had to pause for some pics.
